Marty has his own rubber stamp!

A friend of mine, Deb (Happyhrt) send me this wonderful rubber stamp (along with a whole envelope full of great items) in exchange for some self-adhesive vinyl for her Cricut.  I immediately fell in love with this stamp because it is SO Marty!  The look on his face is perfect - and his nose is up against a huge biscuit.  

I'm going to have to pose Marty like this and take his picture.  I just need to get a big enough bone for him.  I'm sure he'll be happy about that.

I love love love love this rubber stamp!

Todd brought home Shamrock Shakes today!  As soon as Marty caught a sniff of mine, he freaked out. He climbed on my lap and tried to take it away from me.  He even started biting the cup.  He has never done such a crazy thing before (well, there was the canned pears incident).  I thought he was going to hurt himself or me or something.  Here, I just set it on the floor and he went right after it.  

Here he is after I told him to "Leave It!"  He really learned that command well.  Of course he gave me "The Look."  Don't worry, he didn't get any Shamrock Shake to speak of.  Maybe just a few molecules off the edges of the straw.  

Yeah, go ahead... feel sorry for him.  He has such a hard life.

Poor Bosco. The lymphoma has really hit her hard. We made her last appointment at the vet for Tuesday February 16 at 4:00 pm. She will suffer no more.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Marty, Bosco, and Schrody decided to have a Valentine's Day meeting.  Bosco discussed eating the Slim Jim that was on the floor in front of her.  Marty made a motion that he should get it instead.  Schrody, the cat, thought about moving in on that Slim Jim, but then wisely decided against it.

Todd piled all the dogs' blankets and the dog bed on the couch so he could vacuum. Marty promptly got on it! He is all about comfort.

Mikey is one of the resident cats at Kingston Veterinary Hospital.  He usually keeps us company in the waiting room.  Today, he made himself comfortable in a bowl of dog treat samples.

2nd:  We took Bosco to McDonald's on the way home from the vet.  She's feeling a little better!

9th:  The Christmas lights were frozen to the house.  We left them up until January 23rd.

10th:  Snoflakes on ice on our railing.

18th:  Todd sent me flowers for our 13th wedding anniversary.

26th:  Marty (dog) had his last L-CHOP chemo treatment.

29th:  We bought a new car.  A 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe.

29th-31st:  We spent the weekend in The Gold Rush Cabin in the Hocking Hills.

Bosco's favorite place to be. She likes to hog the water bowl. She often sleeps here. Next time she gets up I'm going to put a blanket there for her.

We got about six inches of snow at work today. I used a broom to clear off my car.


It's still snowing. We are supposed to get 8-12 inches by noon tomorrow.

Somehow, while he was in his crate today, Marty hurt his right front paw.  He can't straighten it all the way and he can't put weight on it.  I have no idea what he did to it, as there is no visible sign of injury to it.  Todd will take him to the vet in the morning.
